Had a lovely experience with quick check-in that was faster than anything I’ve seen just got to my room within minutes and the bed was surprisingly comfortable I was ready to crash as soon as I hit it

Sure it wasn't inexpensive but given the overall experience I’d say it was still reasonable.

Good value but some hiccups

Fell short on some basics, like the bathroom fan not working. Room was decent and relatively clean, but had a bit of a smell. Reception was no help when we needed them. Breakfast was a letdown without any bacon for 2 days! Still, had special diet options. a mixed bag but for £59, can't complain too much.

The comfortable bed allowed for a decent night's sleep. the night staff's unclear directions upon check-in were frustrating for first-time visitors. the Wi-Fi was unreliable and the remote for the TV was problematic, which detracted from the experience. it had its moments but left room for improvement.

This place suits me perfectly, offering reliable wi-fi, a 24-hour reception, and a welcoming drink. The staff once helped me with a tech issue, which I truly appreciated. I recommend checking in early for a smooth experience.

I absolutely loved my time here! The cozy double room had this classic feel, quite a rarity these days, and the comfy bed made it a dream to sleep in. Plus, the large parking area was a lifesaver – no worries about where to leave the car!

our stay at the britannia was quite nice. the double room was comfy and had a great shower. the staff were really friendly, which made us feel welcome. we also loved the atmosphere in the bar area, especially with the piano player that evening.

Business travelers beware

The receptionist was very helpful, trying to sort out my issues when I arrived. And the common area wifi was decent enough for my emails, but only if you didn't mind the cold.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but acceptable for a place that clearly needs some upkeep.
